Richard was appointed as Non-Executive Director of Folkestone Real Estate Management Limited in June 2016. In early 2016, Richard left ANZ after a career spanning over 30 years. In the last 15 years with ANZ, he led ANZ’s Australian health, aged care and retirement living business. During that time ANZ was the lead bank on the majority of M & A transactions in the sector. He has a strong established network with stakeholders in the aged care and retirement sector, including Government, operators and advisers to the industry. Previous appointments included being a member of the Federal Government’s ACFI Monitoring Committee and the Aged Care Prudential Governance working group. Richard is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and holds a Bachelor of Economics.
